I've had a lot of issues trying to get the SCM Microsystems SCR331 to work with win 7 x64. Please see below for my other thread posting.
ok here is the update so for and some clarity for t/s purposes...
I have activclient v6.2.0 middle ware installed

SCR3310v2.0 USB Smart Card Reader. Part No: 905331. Identiv's SCR3310v2.0 is a small and ergonomic USB smart card reader with backside mounting holes.
and downloaded those drivers (before I posted earlier) which windows still didn't see as the correct driver. Also I did use windows update, that too did not 'find' a suitable driver. I even went as far as Manually selecting the device 'Smart Card Reader' and browsed for the driver, pointed it to the .inf file from the download off of the scmmicro.com/support site listed above. and picked two different ones (fist one didn't work) the SCR33X driver and the 'SRC3310 driver both do not work.
and yes I have been to https://militarycac.com which didn't help find the driver as well.
the Card reader I have is SCM Microsystems SCR331, which is the same one listed on Win 7 compatibility list
that is the one I'm trying to get working, with no luck. unless your 'C51' drivers will work with this reader, which I'll try and see.. (nope can't even find 'C51 reader?'). Anyone else want to take a shot let me know.
Thanks,
